Once you have escaped reality and have arrived at Poshtel, we will show you to your individually themed Superior King Room with private ensuite, Tea/Coffee making facilities and free Wifi.
When you have settled in, come join us in the lounge and enjoy a glass of bubbles and a cheese platter made with award winning Whitestone Cheeses and other artisan locally sourced produce. Alternatively, you can choose to enjoy these after your golf game the following day.
In the morning a complimentary continental breakfast will start your day before your head out to play 18 holes.
The North Otago Golf Club is in a spectacular spot, allowing you to play the game you love with stunning countryside and coastal views. An evening walk or a short drive will find numerous delicious options for dinner, drinks and cocktails.
After a late check out we suggest you set out to explore Oamaru, one of Otago’s and New Zealand’s most significant heritage destinations. Meander down to Harbour Street in the Victorian Precinct, browse through the unique shops and then wander down to the Pier to take a snap or two.

Great location in a lovely old building. Hosts were very friendly. Decor is wonderful and very fitting for Oamaru. Our room was decked out with old rowing gear and interesting photos and there’s a great collection of memorabilia in the foyer and hallway. Bed was very comfortable with beautiful linen and the room was spotless. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
